Struggle in winters

HELPING HANDS

Already troubled by the displacement from the merciless Earthquake on 25 April, people at the Liwali camp were finding it hard to cope with the decreasing temperature.

Even though it had already been 8 months of the disaster still people were struggling to cope with the consequences, when their belongings were covered in the piles of the rubble. Ramji Mannadhar, a member of GUTHI along with his family member realized that the family living on the temporary shelter may be suffering more than others so they decided to help them by donating a blanket to each family.

“As a human being, I feel obliged towards the victim of quake, who has lost everything. I hope this small contribution from our side shall add some relief to their pain” said Sanjeeb Mannandhar.

On 30th December, 2015 Sanjeeb Mannandhar and Ramji Mannadhar donated 55 blankets of worth Rs.50000+ to the internally displaced people at Liwali camp.

The people living at the camp are grateful towards the Manadhar family for their help. Hari Bhakta Tangaju, eighty years old resident of the camp said that he feels like warmth has come back with the blankets. He along with his family member realized that the family living on the temporary shelter may be suffering more than others so they decided to help them by donating a blanket to each family.
