11April, 2018, Kathmandu: The second day of International Conference on "Water, Environment and Climate Change: Knowledge Sharing and Partnership" witnessed outstanding presentations on varied topics related to water quality, smart water management, rainwater harvesting, wastewater and solid waste management, sanitation, and climate induced hazards.

The devastating earthquake that struck Nepal in 2015 highly affected the old settlements in Kathmandu Valley. Among them, Liwali, located at southern Bhaktapur also suffered massive damage.

10 April, Kathmandu - The International Conference on "Water, Environment and Climate Change: Knowledge Sharing and Partnership" kicked off on 10th April 2018 at Hotel Yak and Yeti. Rt. Hon. Vice President Nanda Kishor Pun, Democratic Federal Republic of Nepal, inaugurated the conference.
