Nepal rests between two gigantic land masses and graces an unpredictable landscape decorated with diverse vegetation and the animals adapted to live within. It only covers three percent of the landmass in South Asia. The largest water reserve in Nepal is merely four percent of the available reserve to the neighboring countries.

Engineers benefitted from rainwater harvesting seminar

On 14th June 2018, GUTHI organized a training seminar to the civil and architect engineering students to impart the necessary knowledge and the rainwater system installation skills in the building construction.

Naturally when rainwater falls on the ground, it percolates down to water table through soil voids and goes to aquifers, but these days our civil structures everywhere are hindering the natural path.

Celebrating World Environment Day by Sharing Knowledge on RWH On the occasion of the World Environment Day 2018, GUTHI organized a one-day Rainwater Harvesting training to the women of Bansighat slum area. The main objective of the program was to aware women about the efficient ways of rainwater harvesting. Altogether 41 women participated in the program.
